Inner tube buying guide, how do I know what sizes should I buy?

When buying inner tubes, it’s important to make sure you get the right size for your bike. Here’s how to determine the size you need:

  1. Check the sidewall of your current tire: The size of your current inner tube should be written on the sidewall of your tire, usually in the format of “XX x XX” (for example, “26 x 1.95”). This size refers to the diameter and width of your tire, and you’ll need to match these dimensions when buying a new inner tube.
  2. Check your bike manual: If you don’t have the tire size written on the sidewall, you can check your bike manual or the manufacturer’s website for the recommended size.
  3. Measure the tire yourself: If you still can’t find the size, you can measure the tire yourself. Measure the diameter of the tire from one end to the other, and then measure the width of the tire. You’ll need both of these measurements to get the right size inner tube.

It’s important to get the right size inner tube, as using one that’s too small or too big can cause problems with the way your bike rides and could even be dangerous. If you’re still unsure, I recommend checking with a local bike shop for assistance.
