Structure&Process

The butyl inner tube formula includes several parts: skeleton material, filler, vulcanization system, processing aid, anti-aging agent
  • The skeleton materials mainly include butyl rubber, butyl rubber reclaimed rubber, and EPDM rubber.
  • The main fillers are carbon black, calcium rubber, etc.
  • Vulcanization system: The vulcanization system of the butyl inner tube is more complicated and should be adjusted according to equipment and process conditions. The vulcanization system is mainly M+TT.
  • Processing aids: mainly paraffin oil, if necessary, add some tackifying resins, etc., stearic acid, ointment, and other lubricants can also be used.
  • Anti-aging agent: Mainly use 4020, 4010NA and paraffin, etc.
  • Every tube also needs a valve, which is bonded to the tube during the vulcanizing process.
